The Pana'ewa Farmers Market is sponsored by the Keaukaha Pana’ewa Farmers Association (KPFA). The Market welcomes farmers, value-added product producers, plant-based handcrafted artisans and community outreach groups.
Market Mission
The Panaʻewa Farmers Market is committed to uplifting the Panaʻewa homestead community, local farmers, food providers and small business owners. The Market aims to foster a sense of community among people from diverse backgrounds.
Market Location and Capacity
The Market is located on Railroad Avenue in the main shopping district of Hilo across from the Home Depot parking lot.
The location has on-site parking and a capacity to accept 3 vendors - 10’x10’ spaces under provided tent canopies and 6 vendors, Bring Your Own Tent. Community-based hydroponic and farmer education activities also happen on the grounds. A portable restroom and a hand washing station are on-site for Vendors. The Market is open to the public for selling and shopping.
